Using Data to Improve Public Health Outcomes

Updated:

Based upon our Principles of Management in Tuberculosis Care and Prevention international course, The Union developed TBData4Action, a training program on TB data specific to the needs of the Government of Kenya.

Between 2017 and 2021 The Union worked with the Ministry of Health of Kenya, supported by USAID funding, to deliver the TBData4Action approach in the country. Find out the details of this project in this case study.

In 2019, The Union's TBData4Action method is designated a 'best practice' in Kenya

Three years later, we connected with two people involved in the roll-out of the training programme in Kenya, who told us about their experience and the impact of this training programme.

Watch the following video where Dr Teresiah Njoroge talks about how she worked with The Union and the NTP of Kenya in bringing the TBData4Action training programme to Kenya.

Listen to Frankline Mwenda Mutema's experience as a participant in one of the TBData4Action training courses delivered in Kenya by The Union between 2017 and 2021.
