Launching in 2026, IJTLD Chronic Respiratory Disease (IJTLD CRD) will be open access and fully compliant with Plan S.
Focussing on chronic conditions in low- to middle-income countries, IJTLD CRD will serve a badly neglected area, with an estimated 4 million deaths p.a., and 28–90 million people living with post-TB lung disease (PTLD). Each issue will include a mix of PTLD; COPD; asthma; the impact of air pollution (e.g., biomass burning, vehicle particulates); lung damage in smokers; bronchiectasis; long COVID; and related therapeutic advances.
The journal will publish a broad range of high impact research for the continuing education of academics, clinicians and all other health personnel working on respiratory diseases and lung health, with the aim of improving care, policy and practise.
We invite authors with open access funding to submit their papers (including Editorials, Meeting Reports, Original Articles, Mini Reviews, Perspectives, Case Reports and Letters) to IJTLD CRD.
We welcome submissions on all aspects of the management and care of patients with PTLD; COPD; asthma; the impact of air pollution (e.g., biomass burning, vehicle particulates); lung damage in smokers; bronchiectasis; long COVID and other chronic respiratory diseases.
We are particularly keen to promote the latest therapeutic advances that might have relevance across a range of respiratory conditions.

Sponsorship
Supplements and article series are a highly-effective way of highlighting a specific topic to researchers, clinicians and decision makers in respiratory health.
Being an Open Access journal, IJTLD CRD has no barriers to access and can reach readers in health centres, medical, university and pharmaceutical institutes, along with civil society, patients and carers.
All content will be freely available and acknowledge the sponsors support and readers will receive emails to highlight sponsored content.
