Submissions are now open for the 50th Union World Conference on Lung Health.

Interested participants will have the opportunity to present in front of many researchers, global advocates, scientists, healthcare professionals, students and community members working on all aspects of lung health, set to gather in Hyderabad, India from 30 October – 2 November 2019.

We stand at a momentous point in time, with the conference coming one year after the UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs and the first ever United Nations High-Level Meeting on tuberculosis (TB). The conference theme Ending the Emergency: Science, Leadership, Action focuses on what is needed to ensure commitments become action, and that life saving targets are met.

Abstracts, symposia, satellite sessions, post-graduate courses and workshops on lung health issues such as TB and TB co-infections, tobacco control, air pollution, COPD, pneumonia, civil society and community engagement, human rights and other topics are all welcomed.

Please read the guidelines for abstracts and sessions submission carefully before you begin. You will also have to select an official track for the conference, please read the list of tracks, which has been updated from last year.

This year you are also able to read the review criteria for the programme selection set by the Coordinating Committee of Scientific Activities (CCSA).

The deadline for submissions of abstracts, symposia, post-graduate courses and workshops is 19 April 2019. Satellite session submissions are open until 12 July with a second round of submissions from 13 July – 13 September, upon availability.
