Between March and July 2024, participants of the Principles of Tuberculosis Care and Prevention: Translating Knowledge to Action course and Cours International sur la Lutte Contre la Tuberculose have taken part in blended learning programmes combining video lectures delivered on an online platform, virtual sessions and in-person trainings.

Due to how busy countries are the Union’s blended learning format helps NTPs to train their staff more efficiently. Participants benefit from interacting with a wide range of experts and faculty members in their area through the online elements of the course.

How many hours of learning have taken place?

A total of 170 hours of training has been delivered by combining the two international courses.

Some of these hours have been delivered via pre-recorded lectures on the Union Courses Online platform, plus the hours spent attending virtual live sessions with faculty members and the one-week in-person sessions with field visits.
