The India Innovation Summit: Proceedings captures the key discussions, innovations, and recommendations emerging from the India Innovation Summit – Pioneering Solutions to End TB, held on 18-19 March 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, India. Convening more than 1,400 participants from government, academia, industry, civil society and global health organisations, the Summit served as a national platform to accelerate the adoption and scale-up of innovations across the tuberculosis (TB) prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care continuum.

Jointly organised by the Department of Health Research, Indian Council of Medical Research, Central TB Division, International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) and Gates Foundation, the Summit brought together policymakers, researchers, innovators, programme implementers and funders to explore transformative solutions for ending TB in India. Through 20 scientific sessions featuring more than 150 national and international experts, participants examined emerging evidence, technological advances and implementation strategies to address persistent challenges in TB detection, treatment, prevention and health systems strengthening.

A major highlight of the Summit was the exhibition of 238 innovations spanning AI-enabled screening tools, rapid diagnostics, digital health solutions, novel treatment approaches, community-centred interventions and health system innovations. By creating direct engagement between innovators, regulators, policymakers and programme managers, the Summit fostered collaboration and accelerated pathways for translating promising innovations into programme practice.

This report provides a comprehensive record of the Summit’s scientific deliberations, expert recommendations and innovation showcases. It also highlights one of the Summit’s key outcomes – the development of the Atlas of TB Innovations, a digital platform designed to document, map and promote innovations across the TB care cascade. As a resource for policymakers, researchers, programme managers, innovators and development partners, the report offers valuable insights into the emerging solutions, partnerships and priorities shaping India's journey towards TB elimination.
