As part of The Union’s drive to strengthen our ability to achieve a world free of tuberculosis and lung disease, our members are invited to apply to join our Board of Directors subcommittees.
Prof Guy Marks, President of The Union, said: “Our membership forms the world’s leading international network of lung health expertise, so it is vital that they can effectively contribute to The Union’s strategic direction. Together we can achieve our vision – a healthier world for all, free of tuberculosis and lung disease.”
The subcommittees were established to help the Board to provide clear guidance to core functions of The Union, including:
- Membership and awards
- Science and policy
- Fundraising
- Training and education
- Journals
- Conferences
- Audit and risk
- Governance and remuneration
Members are welcome to apply for as many subcommittees as they would like by 12 March.
