The aims and objectives of the Korean National Tuberculosis Association
The Korean National Tuberculosis Association (KNTA)’s vision is “to provide the best service, trusted and acknowledged by everyone, regarding tuberculosis and respiratory diseases.”
The KNTA has been leading the way of tuberculosis elimination with the best service and technology, in order to establish a tuberculosis-free country where the people can be relieved from the disease.
Based on the technical skills and knowhow accumulated since 1953, we are making a healthy world without tuberculosis by carrying out tuberculosis eradication activities and supporting vulnerable social groups, as well as contributing in international tuberculosis elimination projects.
What the Christmas Seal design represents
The Korean National Tuberculosis Association has once again collaborated with the popular Korean animation “Bread Barbershop” to create the 2025 Christmas Seal. “Bread Barbershop” is a heart warming comedic sitcom loved by people of all ages, with a global fanbase of millions of viewers.
Under the theme “Lucky Christmas,” the cheerful characters hold four-leaf clovers to share messages of hope, health, and good fortune. We hope this small seal will bring smiles to everyone and inspire kindness during the Christmas season.
Building on the honour of winning first place in 2024, the 2025 Christmas Seal continues to share happiness and support the fight against tuberculosis.
What the Christmas Seal sales support
The Association has conducted various promotion activities such as press releases, advertisements, public relations, donation ceremonies, online event, and campaigns.
For example, they held a Christmas Seal presentation ceremony with the Cardinal, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, the Governor, and other celebrities and distributed press releases. It has also motivated others, including general public, to participate in the Christmas Seal fundraising.
The Korean National Tuberculosis Association first produced Christmas Seals in 1953, the year it was established.
