The TB Free India Summit, being held on 7-8 April in Dharamshala, India, will conclude on 8 April with an #IndiavsTB cricket match. This Twenty20 game will see some of India’s top celebrities and politicians compete against each other to symbolically ‘bowl TB out of India’.

The Member of Parliaments’ XI team will be captained by MP Anurag Thakur, while the Mumbai Heroes celebrity team will be captained by Bollywood superstar Bobby Deol.  The high-profile event aims to raise awareness of tuberculosis (TB) in India – where the disease kills one person every minute.

Entry is free to the cricket match, which takes place 8 April at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala – more details are available on the Call to Action for a TB Free India Facebook page
