Name change: Adult & Child Lung Health Section

The new section will serve members interested in:


• Adult Lung Health – including pneumonia, asthma, COPD, air pollution, occupational lung disease and non-communicable diseases (NCDs)


• Child Lung Health – Childhood TB, HIV, childhood pneumonia, other child lung health issues and child lung-related NCDs.


All Union members affiliate with one of four scientific sections as a focus for their collaborative scientific activities. The other sections are Tuberculosis, HIV, and Tobacco Control.


Members may change their section affiliation at any time by updating their membership details on Union Services at http://services.theunion.org.


The first meeting of the Adult & Child Lung Health Section will be held at the 44th Union World Conference on Lung Health in Paris, France on Saturday, 2 November at 16:45. All Union members and interested conference delegates may attend this meeting to learn more about plans for the section.
