The NCD Alliance has launched a film asking What drives you to be an NCD advocate? featuring the Union’s Executive Director and Chair of the NCD Alliance, José Luis Castro.
The video has been released to mark the one year countdown to the second Global NCD Alliance Forum, taking place on 9-11 December 2017, in Sharjah, UAE.
The 2015 Forum, also held in Sharjah, brought together the largest global gathering of NCD civil society at a pivotal moment - two months after world leaders adopted the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Speaking as Chair of the NCD Alliance, José Luis Castro said:
“The second edition will build on the success of the 2015 Forum. It will serve as an interactive and dynamic platform to share lessons learnt, best practice and solutions in accelerating action on NCDs at all levels”
