Updated:

The Ethics Advisory Group (EAG) of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease is seeking one or more new members. Members of the EAG contribute to all aspects of its work, with a particular emphasis on review of research applications and encouraging ethical reflection across the Union and beyond, including through involvement in operational research training programs.

EAG appointments will seek to ensure that the composition of the group includes sufficient expertise in research, ethics, standards of professional conduct and practice, and community representation. EAG members are selected with consideration of gender, regional and cultural diversity, to ensure an appropriate reflection of the breadth of Union activities and members.

Further information about the composition and work of the EAG can be found here. Members of the EAG are appointed for terms of 3 years, with the potential for additional renewal. Members receive an honoraria and travel support for EAG activities.

Expressions of interest with CV or requests for additional information can be forwarded to the EAG Chair, Professor Justin Denholm, at justin.denholm@mh.org.au and should be received by June 3, 2022.
