IJTLD Open (ISSN: 3005-7590) is open access and fully compliant with Plan S.
The Journal primarily focuses on infectious diseases, including TB and non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM), alongside the role of risk factors and comorbidities. All open access research on chronic respiratory diseases is published in a sister title, IJTLD CRD.
IJTLD Open includes a broader range of article types than the traditional IJTLD, including: Editorials, Meeting reports; Original Articles (including methodology papers, qualitative research and operational research), State of the Art Reviews; Guidelines/Consensus documents; Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis; Viewpoints; Minireviews, Letters; Study Protocols; Case reports; Case series and Correspondence.
IJTLD OPEN is open access and free to read. Also, authors retain copyright and can freely distribute the PDF or upload it to any website. As a consequence, open access articles are highly downloaded and more highly cited.
