The Union’s Education and Training team are on hand to help you improve your knowledge and understanding of lung disease and tuberculosis (TB) in 2024.
Following the success of its courses in 2023, the Union will be running a range of online, hybrid and face to face courses to help develop and strengthen your knowledge and skills, provide quality care, and improve patient outcomes.
Our in-person and hybrid international courses run regularly on a wide range of topics and are delivered by leading experts.
Dates for 2024
Cours International sur la Lutte contre la Tuberculose
This hybrid course will take place from 26th March to the 30th April online and 24th to 28th June in-person in Cotonou, Benin.
This will be the 31st edition of this hugely successful international tuberculosis training course – sharing the latest insights and best practices in the global fight against TB. This course is for French speaking participants.
Principles of TB care and prevention: translating knowledge to action
This hybrid course will run from 1st to 31st March online and 6th to the 11th May in-person in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
After four years of pause we are happy to announce that The Union is bringing this course back into our schedule. Our ‘basic TB course’ has been updated and modernised, with an online and an in-person component.
Cours International sur la Tuberculose Multirésistante
This will be in-person and will run from the 7th to 11th October in Douala, Cameroon.
This course aims to train participants in the care of patients with MDR TB. It has a practical approach and will cover diagnostics, prevention and treatment of MDR TB according to the latest WHO recommendations and current scientific evidence. This course is for French speaking participants.
International Course on the Clinical and Programmatic Management of DR-TB
This is a hybrid course and dates are to be confirmed, but the course will take place between September and October 2024.
