Call for papers in PHA on SDGs

We have expanded the scope of PHA to provide broad coverage of relevant areas of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.

The Editors will consider any manuscript reporting original research on progress to achieving these SDGs.

Suitable topics include infection-related topics such  as vaccines, infection prevention control, outbreaks and antimicrobial resistance. Non-communicable diseases of public health importance include nutrition, the impact of climate change and planetary health.

The journal aims to improve public health practice and we welcome operational research, lessons from implementation and evaluations of public health interventions. We will also consider submissions that focus on issues related to health care access and universal health coverage, quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, ethics and equity as well as education and training.

Selected articles accepted for publication will be published on The Union website as fast-tracked articles.

Please format your article according to the Instructions for Authors and in your cover letter please state that the submission was prompted by this “Call for papers on SDGs”.
