The United States National Institutes of Health, the Wellcome Trust, the British Medical Research Council, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and other research councils require that public funded research should be made freely available as of publication or within at least 6 months of publication.
Gold Open Access (Immediate open access):
If for funding reasons an article requires immediate open access, a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license and/or deposit onto Europe PMC/PMC, the author should inform the Editorial Office on acceptance. The cost of immediate open access is 2000€.
Green Open Access (Author self-archive):
If immediate open access is not required, six months after publication online in the IJTLD, authors may self-archive a copy of the final version of the paper accepted for publication, which includes all modifications from the peer-review process, but not the publisher's pdf.
There are no associated charges, but:
• authors should notify the Editorial Office on acceptance
• the IJTLD reference should be included in the archived paper, and
• copyright should be acknowledged.
Authors may, if they wish, add the link to the pdf of the final published article on Ingenta to their websites.
